Bless You Thank You — Foundation Years Series 3

There are two directions a child can face — inward or outward. This series plants the outward instinct before selfishness has a chance to establish itself as the default.

Series 3 builds on Series 1 and 2 and introduces gratitude as a practice rather than a feeling. Not the performed thank you of social obligation — the genuine thank you of a child who has learned to notice what they have received and name it out loud.

When a child learns to say "Bless you" and "Thank you" with meaning, they are building the two most important relational habits of a faithful life: interceding for others and receiving from God with an open hand. Everything that follows in this curriculum grows from these roots.

Your child will begin a simple daily gratitude practice that connects what they are thankful for to the God who gave it. At age three this looks like naming one thing at dinner. By age six it looks like a child who notices the light coming through the window and says thank you without being asked.
